IE times out when trying to access Microsoft, Hotmaiil or Ebay web sites. All other sites are OK as far as I can tell. I've tried changing or disabling the Firewall (Norton) & security settings approaches, and loaded Java Runtime Environment - all to no avail.

While visiting some sites, the font size is very large. Tried changing the Internet options within IE and nothing change. The font is set at Latin Based. The accessibility all the options are unchecked.

The first time I open up IE after turning computer on, IE works fine. If I close IE and re-open it, I cannot get to any websites. I am able to get to websites again if I restart my computer. This happens at my home and at my office.

The thing that has frustrated about IE since I began using it is it doesn't retain the search word(s). If I enter a term in Find. If I leave the page Find closes, and every time Find closes it throws away my search string words/terms.

Is it possible to set up IE so that it opens up in 'full screen' when first launching IE and when following links. Also I notice that sometimes the favourites drop down menu doesn't always automatically close when I click on the 'full screen' icon.
