I deleted my History but certain urls still appear in my Address bar when I
begin to type.
When I type "M", "MSDN Newsgroups" is one example.  How do these get added
and how do I clear them?

i am having a weird problem where some colors and texts are no longer
showing up in ie or outlook.  for example when i go to nordstrom.com and
click on a color swatch no color shows up But in netscape i can see all the

Running ie6 and trying to download a large zip file from my iis 6.0 site.
When I go to download it, it's timing out.  I can do smaller zip files just
fine, it appears to be 60MB and larger or 50MB and larger.
I've tried all the MIME changes and looked at all the KB's but still ...

For about the last 3 weeks or so, whenever I click on the blue E icon,
instead of the page opening, I get a page stating that "The page cannot be
displayed", which means that they "cannot find server".

I need some assistance with a consistant IE lockup issue I'm experiencing.  
Everytime I enter a web address into the URL bar in IE that does not include
the http:// prefix, then IE locks up.  (ie. www.yahoo.com as opposed to
http://www.yahoo.com).

I am planing to change operating systems from Windows 98SEand to a full
install of Windows XP Pro . How can I save and then reinstall my Favorites
and other internet settings so that I don't lose anything after converting to

I am using IE6 SP2 and when going to websites the Search functionality of IE
keeps appearing on the side of my webpages.  To get rid of it I simply hit
the "X" in the corner of the screen so I can have the full view of my browser

Updated IE 6 with all security patches now I can only browse 2-3 pages
before I get this message "This page cannot be displayed".  It will allow me
to browse "https" prefixed web pages.  A reboot or restart will let me
browse 2-3 more web pages, not to efficient.

I change my brower layout or toolbar (like move my address bar to the File
Menu) and after restarting my computer the next time, the brower will be set
back to original settings.
How did I stop this from do it.?
