How can I download a fresh version of I.E.6 browser, which was installed on my computer by the manufacturer, either online or from the disc? Each time I try, I get a message stating that a version already exists on my computer and the download won't continue. My version is corrupt ...

I have formatted my computer twice and still get errors with sp2. Main one now seems to be any page that has java on it I can't click a link to go to the url site. Does anyone know what I can do to fix this? I just lost 2 days of work on the computer doing a restore from 2 days ...

I have IE6 advanced settings set to empty temporary files on exit from browser. It isn't doing it. Tried unchecking it, restarting and resetting... it doesn't seem to be working. Any ideas why? I know I can do it manually.

I'm running XP SP2 and IE6 with Norton Internet Security. When I move the mouse over a button that gives the message "Javascript: OpenWin(http://...................) in the lower bar of IE6 clicking on that button does nothing. Other web links seem to be ok.

Thee appears to be no place where you can notify Microsoft of a bug in their software. The "Empty Temporary Internet Files folder when browser is closed" option under the Advanced menu in the Internet Options section for Tools DOES NOT

It was working, not sure why it stopped. Am also using Windows Me. have uninstalled and reinstalled several times. When IE is clicked on, the h/d runs for a bit, then stops. Nothing else happens. When I CTRL+ALT+DEL IExplore is listed but not responding.

normally I open up multiple ie6 brower windows when surfing the web. for example, I opened up 10 ie6 windows, then I decided to close some of them, after closing 3 or 4 (sometimes more or less) ie6 windows, ie6 stopped responding, the rest opened ie6 windows were all dead. I
