I need to throw an exception in JScript. According to the ECMA-262
specification this is done as follows:
throw new Error("My error message!");
This works fine for IE on Windows but it doesn't on the Mac OS X plattform.

Every page that I download from the Net cannot be read. The pop-up says:
"This file does not have a program associated with it for performing this
action. Create an association in the Folders Options control panel."
I do urgently need to resolve this problem.

After I install WinXP SP2, when I select Find on this
page from the Edit menu of the browser I get a popup
window with a bunch of HTML in it. If I uninstall SP2,
then the IE browser starts working again.

I am using Windows ME.  When I open IE 6 and try to go any of the
links (news, sports,etc.)  on opening page (MSN.com) I get a message
that it has moved and to click here.  When I click here nothing

I have multiple users signing onto a single XP Pro system.  I have some
Favorites in the All Users Favorites folder.  But they do not appear in each
users IE 6 Favorites pull down.  Why?

Pdf files will not open, and when I go to managed add ons the settings
options is grayed out saying that the add on is managed by the administrator
(who is me) and update active x is also grayed out. This problem came to be
when I installed SP2.
