I have experienced the following problem: after using Internet Explorer for a long time. One day it starts not to save JPEG files, it only allows JPEG files to save in BMP. I suppose the resaon of this problem is that same cache for temporary-Internet-files fullfills.

cannot see embedded flash objects on ie6 pages (like foxnews.com or nascar.com) get object expected errors. have flash 7 installed, hasn't worked since xpsp2 home loaded but firewall off any suggestions?

I keep getting zero-length temporary internet files named [1], [2], [3], etc. (yes, sequential numbers in brackets with no extension.) that do not delete when I clear the cache. I have to manually delete them at a command prompt.

On a website that I use frequently as a "Favorite", I used to click on the sign-in-box and IE would automatically fill in my username PLUS my password would fill in automatically on the next line. I inadvertantly deleted this "Favorite".
