Each time I open IE, other IE windows pop up and I can't close any of the windows unless i kill the iexplore.exe process. I have tried removing adware and spyware and tried reinstalling IE but there are other problems with that...any suggestions??

I get the "The Instruction at <MemLoc1> referred to memery at <MemLoc2>. The memory could not be Read." error. So far as I can remember the problem started after installation of WinXP Pro SP2. I have looked thru the other posts on the problem and have take the steps

Backround: Running XP pro with SP2. WMP 10, IE6, Adobe 6.0. Pentium III, 800Mhz, 384m memory When I open a video file or PDF file from IE6 everything seems to work fine but in both cases I have problems when I close the file.

Hi RIcky, Looks like the problem is happening again. I came home today and I had lost the connection. The "allow the computer to shut off this device to save power" was not checked as you suggested. Any thoughts? Thanks.

Can anyone help me solve this? It seems that every time I try to access Internet Explorer,the floppy driver lights up, as if trying to read a diskette, although I am not accessing the A:// drive and do not have any diskette inserted.

I have a problem with Internet Explorer 6 with service pack 2. The message in the blue banner across the top of the page reads "Cannot find server - Microsoft Internet Explorer". The title across the top of the information on the page reads "This page cannot be displayed".

I have Windows 98 and installed IE6 several months ago including the service packs. Suddenly the graphics in various web sites appear as small boxes with a RED X inside. Can anybody tell me why this started occuring and how to correct it?
