I just removed Firefox with Add/Remove from control panel and now my I.E.
shortcuts do not respond. I get a menu that allows me to select the

Please help! IE is automatically launching itself when I turn on my computer

My internet explorer has been getting stuck a lot lately. It basically just
stops responding. First one windows stops responding and then the rest also
after 5 - 20 seconds. How can i resolve this issue?

I got hit with the about:blank virus trojan spyware and while Ive pulled my
hair out getting my PC clean over the last 3 days I seemed to have done
something to my registry that now makes my IE 6.0 not show my address bar.

Just recently IE has been doing something strange. When I move to another web
page or site it will back up to the last site as if i had hit the back

Can someone help me...i for some reason can open the ie newsgroup in IE, but
other ones like the smartphone newsgroups can only open it in Outlook
express....I dont want it like that and under the settings menu of IE i can
only select OE as the newsgroup reader.

After installing KB834707, on Windows XP SP2, IE is no longer able to load
any web pages from the internet. It can open local .html files but nothing
from the net. The message bar shows "Web site found. Waiting for reply..."
until finally it times-out and shows the page not found ...

When I try to view some websites, and also when I try to bring up a download
(like a pdf file) I sometimes get a blank window with a small red "x" in the
top left corner.  Can anyone suggest what settings I would need to do to be
