I am running XP SP2 with IE6 (6.0.2900.2180.xpsp_sp2_rtm.040803-2158, 128
bit). What I have noticed lately is that on some (but not all as far as I can
tell) web pages, not all text will load.

Does anyone know of a way to see the time that a website was accessed using
the History files in IE6? It is easy to see the date (e.g. Today, Yesterday,
etc) but not the time. Using WinXP Pro.

I don't see any cookies in the temp folder....though they seem to be working.
I do see a separate cookie folderand the cookies are there. How do I get them
to show up with the other temp files again?

I recently changed ISP's and in the process of removing my old ISP's files
(using XP's Add/Remove Program utility) and installing the new ISP's files
(using its provided wizard), discovered that all of my existing Favorites had

When viewing files from internet explorer /view change view to details, then,
you exit out of internet explorer, the view reverts back to icon view. Can

I have protected a directory on a web site using .htaccess.
When a wrong ID/PW combo is provided, the pop-up dialog box that asks
the ID/PW shows up a total of 3 times before the canned 401 Error

IE won't access many web pages.  Can't uninstall20 Dec 2004 23:13 GMT1
IE just stopped accessing many pages I can usually access.  It just jumps me
back to my home page when I hit a link on a webpage.  I tried editing the
registry as instructed on Microsoft technical pages.  It doesn't help.  When
I try reinstalling IE6 it says a newer version has ...

When I click on a website link to an Excel file, I only get a File Download
window that gives me no option to Open the file. I can either Save it to my
computer or Cancel. The files opened just fine when I had Windows 98 and
Excel 2000, but now I have Excel 2003.

Why is it that I have to keep resetting view so I can see my status bar?  I
never had this problem running ie6 under 98se.  I thought it was because I
had more than one window open at a time (it always applies to the second
window) but it also seems to affect the first as well...
