When I launch IE6 - I get a cannot connect message - and in the address line is http:/// (note there are THREE back slashes) I have tried resetting the home page on the tools - I've tried blank - and just about anything else I can think of.

In the last few days many web sites I visit show the message "You are not authorised to view this page". Also many of the illustrations are just little boxes with a red cross in them. They do not open if I click on 'show picture'. What setting have I changed to cause this?
