An email said I got a postcard then I clicked the link.  I saw a plug-in
window openned.  Although I imme disconnect and closed my computer, but still
my IE was  hijacked!
Every time I open my IE, it goes to a sexy web.

I was having a problem with IE 6 - XP SP2 with new windows not loading urls.  
After some digging this was what fixed the problem:

IE will open home page, sometimes a few others.  However most of the time I
can't get past the home page without getting the "DNS Error page".  I have
run AdAware and found nothing and have also ran SpyBot and found nothing.

I just got a new computer and of course Microsoft cant get a standard

I have just done a fresh install of XP Pro SP1a. I then ran SP2. So far
so good. However Internet Explorer will open www.google.com,

For some reason, I am unable to compose new msgs, reply to or forward any
msgs in Hotmail or Yahoo mail -- the text box is blocked out!  It looks like
the page is loading down in the view box, but it never fully opens.  Can

I have a web page that does a window.open() call on a new url.  The url that
is being opened may take awhile to come back to the client.  During this
time, my animated gif no longer animates.  Can someone explain why this
happens and how it can be avoided?

Out of the blue, every time I navigate to an arbitrary site, IE 6 loads the
site BUT, as soon as the page is loaded it redirects the browser to
"http:///" and yields "The page cannot be displayed"
It does not seem to matter which site I navigate to ... same result no
