In the address bar or clicking from a favorite link if I type anything such as - http://www.zdnet.com - something appends to it and I get - http://www.www.zdnet.com.org/. along with an appropriate "server not found" message.

My friend and I have both been experiencing problems with IE loading some websites at a snails pace, while firefox will load the page really fast. I'm on XP Pro and he's on HE, we both have SP2. I'm on Verizon DSL and he's on Charter Cable.

On the ebay Home page, when I click my ebay and enter sign on and password, a message comes on that states that my browser settings do not allow for URL automatic redirection. This just started out of nowhere. Any idea how to fix this?

I've just started (in the last couple of days) getting an error that halts IE cold. The error message is as follows: "Internet Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience."

I've browsed thru this newsgroup & the SearchMicrosoft.com. Am I missing the info that tells me how I can keep the original web page icon in Favorites instead of the generic Interent Explorer icon? .....thank you in advance

Odd problem recently begun. IE6 (on XP Pro, SP1) has recently started changing the text size on web pages from Medium (where I want it) to Smaller. I have to manually re-set them back to Medium.

Every time I enter windows, internet explorer starts automatically and goes to the web page: http://www.bloodfield.com/msex.html. I think it's some worm or something like that but I run ad-ware and he doesn't find nothing.
