When the down arrow is clicked in the address bar to list all of the previous website accessed, it also lists paths to files that have been accessed. Why is that and how can I prevent it? Thanks,

When I disconnect from the internet, my computers locks up and can only be shutdown with the manual switch. Am using WINDOWS ME. SBC, my internet provider advised I remove all components except Client for Microsoft Networks, Dial Up Adapter and TCP/IP>Dial Up Adapter.

I changed my logon a long time ago, but my temporary files and cookies are still being stored in my old profile: c:\documents and settings\old name\local settings\temporary internet files\ Obviously, IE is not looking at how I am logged on. Where does it figure

Any time I try to open a media file via MediaPlayer (embedded in Explorer), it causes Explorer to shut down. No error message so I don't even know where to start with this.
