I've been having problems w/ red x's appearing on web pages instead of

DNS Error - but no issue after a reboot05 Dec 2004 20:15 GMT2
I’m getting a “Cannot find server or DNS Error” on some particular sites I
am trying to access. The strange thing is that after a reboot I can get
straight into them…however, about 5 mins later when I try again I get the DNS

Everytime I try to either download or install from a disc,
I get a message that there is a pending install that
requires a reboot and I must restart computer.  Have done
this many times with no results.  Any help out there?

Thanks to all who answered my question about removing an unwanted toolbar.
Yes, I was able to find it in Add/Remove Programs in the Control Panel.
Should have thought of that myself. But everyone should get ToolbarCop, as
someone suggested, and add to their utilities bag of ...
