I have been facing this problem for the past 1-weeks. The hotmail account does not open in the IE. After giving my user-id and password the windows just sits there there is no further action.

I have a PC that I can surf the net without any problem but when I try to see my mails on hotmail I can't enter the page. It asks me the username and password it stays there trying to open the page and I get no response.

I have a strange problem, which started after I INSTALLED sp2 and also NORTON ANTI - VIRUS 2004 Professional version. When I try to open a site it doesn't open on the first go, instead I have to press refresh and that works....

I have an older Compaq computer with windows me. When I am using the normal start up process I.E. automatically opens and connects to the internet via my broadband connection. Any ideas why this happens? thanks in advance

Hi. i need help with mi IE6 with SP2. For a few days now mi IE hasnt been able to load up my hotmail account or even google.com! For hotmail, it allows me to access the main page but as soon as i log in, it stops working and displays "page cannot be displayed"

I recently upgraded the system to Win XP, which came with ie 6.0. In the new system, whenever I find a link which should open a new window through a javascript, it simply doesn't work... ie, the new window flashes open for a shortwhile, then immediately shuts down automatically.

Favorites folder is still there but when I pressed 'Favorites' there is nothin there and 'Add to favorites' does not do anything and no error is returned. Happened one day for resons unknown and has been working for as long as I can remember. Virus checkers gove clean bill.

Shortly after accessing Outlook Express my mouse sticks and refuses to move. So far it happens only in OE. I must shut down manually and restart. I have used Norton Clean Sweep, Adaware, Pestscan, cleared the cache, defragged, restored to a previous backup all to no avail..

I have not been able to change this to 128-bit as it should be. I have IE 6 SP2 any ideas?? I've tried to redownload SP2 but it will not let me.

Hi, I'm trying to find out the minimum amount of ports need to be open, to allow access to IE and MSN only. Any ideas? I've tried allowing ports 1-2000 to be open, but IE wont connect to anything. I'm opening/blocking ports through my router.

Is there a way to remove IE or is it so embedded in Windows it's impossible? Mine is infested with some spyware that no spyware killer or anti-virus can root out. I could just use Firefox instead (which I do anyway while IE is infected), but I figure that maybe there is a way ...
