There are some web pages that I go to where there is a box with a red "X" in it instead of a picture showing. When I go to the properties of the red "X", the files are Jpeg and Gif files. When I go into the internet properties, "show pictures" is checked. Is this a security issue ...

I'm implementing a custom pluggable protocol to retrieve HTML pages from a data cache. Everything appears to work fine except when javascript inside one of the HTML tries to refer to the "top" object or create an IFRAME. Then I get access denied.

Installation of Norton SystemWorks 2005 on WinXP Pro SP2 failed during install. This process somehow disabled all IE JavaScript functionality on my machine. In fact, the installation process for Norton results in non-functioning dialogs so I can't even complete this process.
