I've got a Win98 machine that the IE 6 has just been installed on.  
Ever since they installed IE 6, the dialup connection pops up when
when windows starts up.  Then it takes 2 or 3 attempts to get it
closed.  There isn't anything that Im aware of that is trying to dial

Just wondering if anyonenew of how to stop a computer hanging when an
internet connection is dialed in IE6. I have never had the problem before and
have been happily using the connection for 2+ years now. Every time i dial up
and the balloon tip is shown saying 'btinternet ...

That is the error page I'm getting 80% of the times I sign in my Netscape
webmail.
I'm using XP (SP2) and IE6 with all updates and AV (it's a clean new PC):

I have been using a long time IE, now ie6sp2, just of curiosity i installed
Firefox 1.0 and i notice something: In every url that appears in the address
bar, it is shown a personalized icon of that website. However in IE, it is
always the same icon for everypage.

For some reason when I try to go to www.yahoo.com the page does not display
and the botom left shows done. However if I clik the refrest buttom it comes
up. This never happen before just wondering if anyone is having this similar
problem.

I just did a system recovery after a virus problem.
now when I connect to internet using sbc dsl I can
browse for about 5 minutes when my browser will stop.
when I try to go to a web page I get page not displayed

All keyboard shortcuts are not working.  I tried uninstall/reinstall to no
avail.  Any ideas on how to fix this?  I am worried that IE will become more
unstable...

Running windows xp - just replaced HDD and motherboard and reinstalled win xp.
Now there is no IE listed in the programs menu. I did delete MSNIE because I
