WXP SP2 IE6     When I open my browser address bar (name only ) is on the
right hand side in grey Nowhere to type in an address. Going thru View only
switches the greyed address off and on.

I have Internet Explorer 6 on Windows 2000.  If I click print, I get a
blank page.  If I click print preview, I get a blank page.  I have
researched the kb and google to no avail.  What I have noticed, is that
on the bottom of the print preview page, it says:

we're using windows 98 SE & i.e.6 plus adobe 6.0.3.  we are not able to open
pdf files in the web and there seems to be many strange problems with i.e.
since we installed some recent i.e. updates.  after installing the updates,
windows explorer (in the computer) would no longer ...

I recieve an email as a reciept as an *.html file attachment from a vendor
of ours and everytime I try to open the attached *.html file, it opens it in
IE in the Restricted Sites zone and it doesn't show me any of the content of
the receipt.

My IE 6.0 suddenly cannot display the unicode (maybe I have installed sth
driver or shareware that corrupt the file) and all unicode character
(traditional chinese, japaense) become a square.  
Can anyone help me to solve this problem?

I access a URL by HTTP GET giving a pdf file as response.
Immediately after, a second HTTP GET is sent by the browser
without any user interaction. This does not occur when I

the built in EI Popup Blocker? They will not work together.

If the "Favorites" folder is cut from a user profile and later pasted back IE
doesn't recognize any of the bookmarks.  Is there a way to restore them or
does a new user profile need to be set in W2K Pro SP4?

View source doesn't work. I've viewed past threads and cleared TIF, lowered
the file size and checked if notepad is on desktop & checked registry, DWORD
is set at 0. Anyone have any other suggestions on how to restore view source?

it will not open suprnova.org,i have checked everything i can think

After a pop-up frenzy that required me to control-alt-deleteto close IE,
whenever I open explorer the back and forward buttons are greyed out and
non-functional.No matter where on the net I go, they never return to
functionality. Please tell me how to enable this important function.
