IE6 If I choose to save a web page by clicking FILE | SAVE AS the default 'save as type' is .htm I prefer to save my web pages as .mht (Web archive, single) format.

I have been reading in microsoft how to repair ie but how do you repair it if your running xp. I don't see it in add/remove programs. My ie will open but when I try to go to different links it hangs. Any suggestions

I have a Vaio laptop with XP home, and recently began having problems with IE6. I can open IE from my desktop, but am unable to navigate to Hotmail from MSN.com. I can navigate to Yahoo Mail, and other websites, but not all of the functions will work properly.

This is a problem only on one system. If I use an IE window to browse moving from one page to another continuously, it will stop loading pages after 3 or 4 page. instead it will just keep rotating the logo and show progress on the status bar for a looooooooooong time and says ...

With IE6 (Windows XP Home SP1) and prior versions, I could open other web pages fairly easy while downloading something. Not so with SP2. Attempting to connect to a website (or a newsserver with OE6) usually fails. Sometimes it will connect after trying several times.

I have a whole list of favourites, however when I click on a favourite link that I keep on the links bar it opens the website in a new window, does anybody know how to stop this and make it open in the current window that I am using??
