I am currently writing this on Mozilla Firefox because my Internet Explorer
keeps freezing up my computer. Everytime I try to open it u it freezes the
entire computer to the point where the computer has to be restarted by

Im trying to replace current host file that is showing 127.0.0.1 which is
prevneting me from seeing advertisements.  In a previous thread a participant
said the replaced the host with hosts.bak.  Where is host.bak?  or how do I
change the host so that I can see ads?

I can't access anything using IE.  I get  a DNS error when it tries to load.  
However, I can get to anywhere I want using Mozilla firefox.   Is there a
solution to getting IE working again?

i have a probleme with inetrnet page from systeme windows xp, when i conect
to intenet servers i reseve the server but the page not fond i don't no what
i have from a probleme .

This only happens when I run my webpage backup from my harddrive.  If I run
the same webpage from its web location (tripod.com), IE will show the jpeg
file.  I have a thumbnail that shows the enlarged picture when you click it.  
But it does not show the image when I try to run it ...

We have 15 new laptops that are loaded with Windows XP with SP2, Office 2003,
IE 6.0, Ad-Aware, Zone Alarm, and lots of other bells and whistles.  We are
having problems setting favorites in Internet Explorer.  The titles appear,
but therer are no links associated with the titles ...

If anyone know how to set the number of Internt explorer windows can open.
I find if I try to open a new internet explorer window, the old one will
close immediately.
and it keeps only one iexplorer6 window open on the desktop.

When I click on a link in outlook express IE6 opens up 64 times.  Any ideas

I recently purchased a new computer.  When I try to lauch a secon ie window
the first window is reset to my startup home page.  Are there is settings
that would change this and allow multiple sessions of ie to be running at the
same time?
