I have a strange problem. I cannot open any site in Internet Explorer. But my yahoo messenger is working and netscape is working. I upgraded IE, no use. I restore all the settings of IE to default, no use. I am running on XP Prof. What could be the problem.

After SP2, I can surf maybe a couple of pages, then "Page cannot...". The computer shows I'm still connected, however, I pick up my phone and dial tone!!! Can I uninstall SP2 without to much damage or am I better off restoring my machine?
