I'm not happy with the way xp has modified (if it can be said that way) the browser search. When I open my browser, I like to do my search by hitting the IE Search button. I want it to default to the most common search instead of me having to define what type of search I'm doing.

Everytime I try to log onto Yahoo or my work email, I get an error message saying that Internet explorer must close. This is what is in the error report. AppName: iexplore.exe AppVer: 6.0.2900.2180 ModName: wininet.dll

Going crazy on this one: lose browsing on IE6 or Firefox after about 5 minutes after boot or reboot. Email / newsgroups ok. Problem is on two computers connected to cable modem through wired portion of router. Tried two different brands of routers too, same thing. Connect

I have seen at various locations I have visited (in person, not online) where the browser's frame/background has been changed from the standard gray/tan/blue/whatever to some image or other. Can I customize my browser in that way?

I just bought a Dell Inspiron 8600 with WIndows XP Home SP2 installed. I followed all of my ISP's directions for setting up the connection (dialup) and it connects fine but it doesn't load websites. I had the same problem on my desktop but I forget how I fixed it.

Hi, I'm running XP (SP2) with IE 6 (SP2). I had some automatic updates applied a few days ago. noe when I start IE up it is fine for about 30 seconds and then closes. Nothing appears in Event Viewer. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
