When I'm in IE and click on a mp3 file or movie clip it wants to save it to
my harddrive. All I want it to do is play the file automatically. What do I
have to do?

Please help- When I navigate thru web pages, eventuallly IE 6 will post an
error message-IE has encountered an error and needs to close this window.
This happens whether I'm navigating my third page or my 20th, IE will
eventually crash.

Hey all I was working in 2 browsers and did a "tile horizontally" feature.  
Now whenever I reopen a browser it only opens half way.  I can obviously just
double click the title bar or hit the maximize button, but is there a way

problems with before!  One particular site/activity is performing a
Windows Update.  The page freezes at the initial page "Checking for the

I am unable to open links in ie.  I have to use msn now.  Can anyone tell me
how I can repair IE  I ordered a cd from microsoft but when I try to install
it it tells me there is a higher version already installed.  Any help would

My mother-in-law has a strange problem with IE6.  She says she 'removed the
yahoo tool bar'.  Now when ever she clicks on a link in OE or ICQ she gets a
blank page.  But if she clicks on a link in windows messagner it opens to
that page.

I am rebuilding a Win98SE system with new hardware.  When I try installing
IE6SP1 the installer goes about 1 percent and then stops with a message like
"Setup was unable to install all the components. Please close all apps & try

Can anyone please tell me how to restore a visited hyperlink's state?
For visited hyperlinks, it usually turned to another color, and I wish to
restore it back to "unvisited".
