Recently ie6 stopped showing all pictures. I won't even show the usual pictures embedded in error messages when it's not connected to the internet. I Tried suggestions in previous postings but nothing seems to help. This is an intermittent problem.

Does anyone know *which* Internet Options setting allows javascript? I set almost everything Disabled (a few Prompt), but isn't javascript safe (with AV and hardware and software FWs). XP SP2, patch/updated -------------------------

still have the problem of certain sites closing the IE application . I have the latest Microsoft spyware beta, it reports I am clean. I have also deleted and re-installed IE6. I have installed SP1 from Microsoft.

I had a dial up connection on my computer. I switch over to an Cable connection. When I connect the ethernet cable it finds the connection as says that I'm connected. But when I load Internet Explorer it still tries to dial up. How do I make in find the high speed connection?

I am unable to connect to the Internet at all. I am also unable to receive emails using Outlook Express. Instant Messenger is still working. I don't know what to do since I am unable to connect to the internet.
