IE 6 Errors Then Crashes, WIN9830 Jan 2005 01:09 GMT3
I'm running Windows 98 and IE 6. I've run Viruscan and everything is cool
there. I used the fixes listed in this news group for Win 98 and XP and
nothing has resolved the problem. I've uninstalled IE 6 and tried the repair
tool, but no success there either.

msjava.dll addon causes ie6 to crash. With this addon disabled everything is
ok except the addon function. This addon seems to be very common and
diminishes the usefulness of numerous sites when disabled. Anyone have an
idea how to proceed to rectify

I have xp pro and IE6. I have a redirect that I cannot get rid of. I have
tried AdAware, Spybot, and Microsofts new AntiSpam.
Every time I try to do a search, I get redirected to a list that is
dominated by starware: ex; search.starware.com.

It always changes to www.searchportal.com. I've changed it in options but
next time I load IE it goes straight to searchportal.
I've also run adaware but that hasn't cleared it??
Any ideas anyone?

Yesterday my computer starting acting freaky! When I click on a link most of
the time, it doens't work properly - I'll click on the link, I see the
page/link name down in the bottom left corner, but it's not putting it in the
address line of IE. I'm stuck with the little hand on ...

I must have deleted or disabled the download function and can no longer
download anything.  Once I get to a site and request a download I get a blank
screen (with a little icon in the upper left corner that won't expand).  Does
anyone know the name of the download function or how ...

while i am surfing the web, i try to get to a web page with either hyper text
or micorx controls and ie will give me a message indicating that a problem
happened and needs to send a report to microsoft. what the hack is going on?

Since yesterday, when I connected to internet, I keep getting installations
starting on my computer. It does ask if I want them...it just starts
installing thing..."Visual Bouncer"..."eZula"..."Ad Bouncer". I have Windows
98 & IE 6.  Help...how do I stop this?

i have cleared my history.  cleared my cookies and cleared my files.
yet still in my address bar, when i type www.<something>
it still has addresses that get listed in the dropdown.
is there a place these are stored?  is there a way to clear them?

I have a client with a desktop and laptop, both WinXP
home, Both with IE6 and matching sp's. However the
Desktop has IE6 reg # with a C at the end and the laptop
does not.?

Since upgrading to XP-SP2 it seems that sometimes when writing an MHT file,
the
result is not usuable by IE6.  Word can open the MHT file and display, but
IE6

About a week ago i could access the yahoo auction site and now i cannot get
in at all. I know get just an error message saying the site is unavailable
technically. please help
