I have been through some of the suggested remedies for this problem i.e :-
Tools/InternetOptions/Connections/and ticked the relevant boxes. No result.

When opening a window on the internet, they always open in

All of a sudden, IE6 (fully up to dt mtce wise) fails to execute ActiveX
script.
I have tried to un-install/re-install, but uninstall fails half way through
and re-install takes me all the way back to where I was, but still no ActiveX.

I am creating a web page with Java Server Faces. When I direct a web
browser to:

we are looking for a information, which plugins are autmatically
installed with IE6 SP1. We are using SVG for a internet plattform used
in a project and when we tested it, IE6 was installed automatically
including adobe's svgviewer. It seems that this has changed in the last

this morning I went on a website and clicked someting a bit suspect knowing
i had upto date anti virus running.
since that point i can no longer get on any website through IE6
I can ftp and ping and collect and send mail and even surf with mozilla

I cannot get to safe mode when I hold the control key down while booting,
tapping the F8 key, or doing a combination of both.  Is there a way I can
correct this.  Thanks

IE 6 is launching very slowly -- maybe 30-45 secs. It used to be much faster.
Suggestions for fix welcome.

Is there any webfolder for free available in the internet, I need about 50MB.

having a problem with internet explorer i open it and my homepage is set to
about.com and no matter how i change it it constantly goes back there, when i
type in a new page it turns to a blank screen with done at bottom i ran virus
check and it came up with nothing i need help ...
