Each time I try to login Ebay or Barclays Bank I get the "The page cannot be

I have a situation where I'm trying to support a remote user with an IE 6.0
application.  Remote Scripting (MS Virtual Machine) is not running, and I
believe it is because the user has LOTS of Browser add-ons, helpers,
toolbars, ActiveX controls, etc.

    I am not able to change my home page under internet options.  The home
page address bar is grayed out, and when I try to set a page as a home page I
am told that I do not have sufficient priveleges for conducting this
operation.  This is a home computer that is not hooked up ...
