I am constantly getting popups in IE6 (with SP2 installed) that even are difficult for many popup blockers to stop. After doing some research and looking at the URLs on the popups, the bug in question is xlime.optimizer

When using Internet Explorer I receive an error labeled 1606, with a statement that the application cannot find a server. The computer uses a dial up service, and the error can occur either on-line or off line. the operating system is Windows XP for home.

IN INTERNET EXPLORER THERE IS A WAY TO REFRESH THE TOOLBARS SO THAT THE CHECK MARKS NEXT TO THE NAMES MATCH THE TOOLBARS AS YOU WANT TO PLACE THEM UNDER YOUR ADDRESS BAR. I THINK THAT THE REFRESH RATE FOR INTERNET EXPLORER NEEDS TO BE RESET. DOES ANY ONE KNOW HOW TO DO THIS?

Whenever i save any pic now, from internet explorer, it always saves as a bitmap file. Even if the pics r jpeg format, how can this be changed, there is no option to save as jpg. thanks
