When I attempt to access www.circuitcity.com and www.yahoo.com on my IE6
browser I receive the error message "Cannot open site.  Operation Aborted."  
When I click "ok" I am taken to the IE "Cannot Find Server" page.  1) How do
I correct this, and 2) What caused this?

Since installing XP Professional I've had problems.  When I am on a game site

Hi,
I installed SP2 and now my internet explorer won't work. It opens my home
page and when I try to go to another web site I get a Page cannot be
displayed message. Also My network says it has low or no connectivity when
IE6 no longer works after installing SP2.13 Jan 2005 17:34 GMT2
IE and various other programs that use the internet (like AIM) no longer work
after installing SP2.  I get a crash message before anything loads.  I saw
some of the other posts and tried some of their suggestions like running
SysClean etc but still nothing works.

There are several websites on which internet explorer shuts down completely
after clicking on a link. It happens on both secured and unsecured websites.
My computer in protected by virus scan and firewalls. I checked for spyware
and fixed them. Nothing helps. I have windows 2000 ...

I am having problems with IE 6 aborting and closing when I attempt to access
sites.  I am told there may be spyware or a virus on the computer.
1. How do I determine this?

I have the common problem of IE not loading any sites; they all come up with
"Page cannot be displayed"; except, secure sites (https://) will load.
However, this only happens after reconnecting to my ISP (I use dial-up).
After starting Windows and connecting, pages load just fine ...

After installing a recent update my browser now opens to Windows Update.  If
I click on the "Home" icon then it goes to my home page.  How can I fix this?

I've got this little Search tool that is at the  bottom of my browser and
cant figure out how to get rid of it.  I have tried to find out where it came
from and can't figure it out.  I tried Ad-aware, no luck.  I tried Mcaffe, no

Unable to open IE but can see IE process running in task manager13 Jan 2005 07:14 GMT3
I am using IE 6 sp 2 on win xp sp 2, It was good untill yesterday,
then suddenly I am unable to open IE, where as i can see the
iexplore.exe running in the task manager.
If i click IE icon again, one more iexplore.exe process has started
