I'm running Windows XP with both SP1 and SP2 installed.
I'm unable to get the checkbox in Internet Options, "internet explorer
should check to see whether it is the default browser" to save.  When I
uncheck the box, apply it, and close Internet explorer,  when I re-open it,

I downloaded the internet explorer 6 thinking I was upgrading, but since I

i have windows 98 and just recently i haven't been able to open my internet
explorer browser. To open it i have to go on to the desktop and right click
on the internet explorer icon and then click open, this is the only way it

When searching sites such as this (on a different PC obviously!) I cannot
get an insertion point and therefore cannot type text into boxes.
Cannot type an email in Outlook Express either.

On many webpages, I can press the DOWN ARROW on a user ID field/e-mail
address/etc. field and it will list the recent entries.  This helps save time
on sites where long ID's or e-mail addresses are needed for access.  On the
L.A. Public library site, I cannot get it to save my ID ...

Win XP SP2 laptop, cable internet hookup.
User cannot access our citrix login page but can surf fine.
Tried using content advisor to allow the site in internet options
and LAN connection settings are set to automatically detect.

I am working from home and using Webmail for my client.  I realized the
problem when trying to reply or forward an email and no window would come up
when I clicked the button for this function.  I thought it was webmail at
first, but then noticed this is happening on many sites.

On one of my other systems IE will not access any of the microsoft
newsgroups. I get a message saying: Sorry, the page you requested is not
available.
Will someone tell me how I may correct this problem, please?

We recently started getting this error on an XP PC when we try to start
IE 6. The Administrator can access IE, but the primary user can not.
They ran AdAware to remove spyware.
Any suggestions?

I have winxp pro on two PCs.  I think a setting has been disabled on one
because all graphics, like menus, jpg headers etc, do not load.  The other PC
is fine.  I cannot find the difference in the two PCs settings. I have gone

I have Windows98 and IE6 on my Kids PC. I turned the content advisor on and
approved some sites that the kids can surf safely. After a while I noticed
that the system allows any site to be visited, even if the site is blocked in
the list.

No matter which popup stopper I use (currently Popup Stopper Pro), popups still bring my
computer to a crawl. Sometimes I swear I'm sitting here for 30 seconds while the popup
gets loaded & killed.  They are obviously still running client-side & only get closed
after they are fully ...

My IE6 will only let me download 2 files at a time.  I have a cable
connection and would like to be able to download more.  Is there a setting I
can change?
