Using XP SR2 IE6.
After opening a new IE window, if I try to access the address bar history
by using the drop down arrow, I get only an hourglass. After about a minute
the hourglass will disappear and the address bar will display the history.

My web site has animation. When I access it off line all is fine. When I
access it on line there is no animation.  I have asked friends to call it up
and they report there is animation.  Therefore I believe the problem is with

this requires repair of IE6. used sfc /scannow, but that insists I load
original XPhome CD. When that loads I am warned I am overwriting more up to

I recently noticed that certain text that appears in various message
boards, etc.  is highlighted and/or underlined, click on it and a new
window opens taking me to a "sales" site that has some relationship to
the highligted text.   I'm running XP Home Ed.

At times when I try to access my companies email system
(http://mail.*****.com/exchange) which uses Outlook Web Access I get a window
with the Header saying "Microsoft Internet Explorer" with the following
message - Unknown Error 12152.  This happens about 90% of the time.  ...

I can configure custom security level as Administrator but as a Regular user
i can not (the button is greyed out). I need to configure it as user as the
admin settings do not apply to user settings. IE version 6.00.3790 the last.
Where can I enable or configure the settings?

The IE6 on my friend's notebook displays the main page but all the graphics,
different sections of the page, and many links on the page show "page not
found..."  Some "X"'s may be displayed too.  Some X's link to pages but X's
that usually link to pictures get nothing.  Any ideas ...

I sit here and I read all of these similar posts of how IE6 cannot display
certain webpages giving us the "This page cannot be displayed" message. And I

When I complete a session on a secure website I get an error message that IE
has experienced an unexpected problem and will shut down and ask if I want to

In IE6 > Tools > Internet Options > General > Delete Files there is a
checkbox to Delete All Offline Content.
Can anyone confirm that using this checkbox does not delete web pages
which I've deliberately saved (File > Save As).

I get the following error at ramdom with IE6

When I click the   x  to close the IE window, it goes to  about:blank  and
then XP asks me to send in the error readings to Microsoft. Does anyone know
how to stop   about:blank from aoppearing??
