This is my first and I think I've gotten rid of it, but we'll see.
Fortunately for me, I had taken a screenshot of my processes running just
prior to this wicked infiltration so I had a great starting point. You know,
the 3-fingered salute: CTRL-ALT-DELETE and click the "Processes" ...

Everytime I goto a site that has embedded audio/video IE

Is there a way to disable the history, or record, of what is typed in a
browser window? When I start to type a name in google or yahoo or whatever,
a list of all the names typed previously comes up. What is the purpose of
this, and can it be disabled, or turned off?

When I open IE6 browser, I get message that "cannot find
page."  I later uninstalled the IE6 browser, and
reinstalled  it by upgrading from the original IE5.
However, neither of these two browsers can open any website.

Everytime I enter a url in the address bar IE6 always comes back replacing my
url with http:/// (and nothing after it) and then says "The page cannot be
displayed" in the browser page area.  
I am running XP SP2 (with hotfixes up to Q819696)
