How do I create a local terms and conditions home page for IE?11 Jan 2005 05:46 GMT1
I work at a public Library where patrons have access to our public
access computers.  Unfortunately, some patrons abuse their priviledges on
these machines.  Guidelines have been implimented for using these computers
but I would like to incorperate these guidelines in ...

Using Windows 2K SP-4 and IE 6 I am having unsolvable proplems with IE 6 so I

Internet Explorer 6 + SP 1, fully patched, running on Windows 2000 Pro, also
fully patched.
Also running fully updated McAfee ViruScan, so I doubt I have any bugs.
Suddenly, as of yesterday, any URL I try to hit with IE6 gives me nothing
Can't view some web sites, get source instead11 Jan 2005 01:56 GMT3
I've got a screwy little problem in IE 6 (Windows XP Pro SP2).  When I
attempt to go to some sites, I get nothing but HTML source code on the
screen.  Other identical systems work fine, but not this one.  I thought
it might have been a glitch with Norton Internet Security 2005 (a ...

"Object Moved to HERE" fix11 Jan 2005 01:24 GMT2
After searching high and low for a fix to this annoying problem, I may have
finally stumbled on it in an obscure KB article in the MS knowledge base.  I
can’t even remember which one, but it made a mention of HTTP 1.1 in older
than IE6 versions, and I remembered that setting in ...
IE won't spawn new windows -- last ditch effort11 Jan 2005 01:19 GMT11
I've been grappling with this problem for three days.  Internet explorer
will not open a new window when requested, regardless of whether it's clicked
in an email, typed into the Run: box, or told to Open In A New Window from
the right-click contextual menu.  When the latter of ...
Auto Complete(Forms) - Timestamp11 Jan 2005 01:14 GMT1
I need to find out when an entry in the auto complete (forms) was made.
As far as I can understand, the information concerning stored auto complete
entries is in the registry. If this is true, then where, and does the
registry entry contain information that would reveal when it ...

I have been using Microsoft Producer for a number of years to produce CDs

3-4 CDs. These run fine on the computer, but recently they no longer project
correctly when the output is to an LCD projector. ...
Possible solution for IE not spawning windows11 Jan 2005 01:14 GMT4
I posted last week about a problem I was having with IE not opening new
windows when required; I think I've found a solution, and thought I'd post it
in case anyone else is running into this very frustrating problem.
Every time I needed IE to spawn a new window (right-click "Open ...
Updating Time / Date11 Jan 2005 01:14 GMT2
Lately, each time I open Internet Explorer 6 (on XP), it opens with the
date/time that I last used it. For example, Yahoo.com is my start page. If I
log in right now, the time/date on Explorer is from two days ago, the last
time I logged in.

the Windows license?
