I have IE6-sp2 on my Windows XP and have problems with a lot of secure web
pages. I am on a DSL line when I have these problems and if I switch to my
modem I am able to complete the secure pages.

When I'm using IE and I go to amazon.com and I type in a search for a band
and the search results come up and I click on a cd and then I want to go back
to the search by hitting the back button it tells me the page cannot be
displayed.  I can use FireFox and I have no problems ...

What does IE consider the "local intranet"?
We have an internal web server running on our intranet but IE treats it as
if it is on the Internet.  Attachment Manager blocks files from being
downloaded with the default IE security settings.

Other users will have unlimited access.

I'm having a problem with Internet Explorer and I figure the best way to fix
it is to simply uninstall it and then reinstall it.  The problem other than
the fact it won't let me uninstall or reinstall is that the web pages I go to
won't appear correctly.  Like images aren't ...
