I have IE6-sp2 on my Windows XP and have problems with a lot of secure web pages. I am on a DSL line when I have these problems and if I switch to my modem I am able to complete the secure pages. Viva la differance!

I am looking for a list of image types that are supported by Internet Explorer. Probably jpeg, jpg, gif en png will be supported. Spent several hours on google and microsofts website but can't find the right information. Can anyone give a link??

I try to use site www.mk.ru - a russian newspaper, once i'm on the home page i try to click ">>>" - to read the article, a new windows opens but nothings happens, the address line stays empty. If I look at the properties of ">>>" and copy the link to address line it works fine.

When I reply to a newsgroup I get an error message that says "cannot resolve newsgroup". For a long time I didn't know what the problem was. I just realized that the News Server that is shown is not the server that has the newsgroup

What does IE consider the "local intranet"? We have an internal web server running on our intranet but IE treats it as if it is on the Internet. Attachment Manager blocks files from being downloaded with the default IE security settings.

After declining to have IE remember me at a web site, how can I later change that and have it ask if I wish to have my ID and password remembered? Cycling Autocomplete on and off doesn't seem to do it.

Is there a way to limit specific users to only browse to specific sites? Other users will have unlimited access. We utilize access to the Internet via a USR8200 router attached to our LAN/WAN that also runs Win2000 server.
