any access to the IE 6.0 brings up the page I ask for and then redirects to Http:/// (yes, three slashes). If there is a security change on the page, the correct page displays behind the dialog box, butgoes to Http::/// as soon as I click on Yes.

I am using IE 6 and XP sp2, suddenly now I am unable to right click on a hyperlink and say open in new window, it opens a new IE window then the bar scrolls across at the bottom of IE and it never goes anywhere? If i just click on the hyperlink so that it will open in the same IE ...

I could log into my yahoo email account but when I clicked any other folder icons inside and even the log-out icon, it showed "the page could not be displayed" . I have no such problem with other web mail account. I used Windows XP SP2 and IE 6.0.2900.2180.xpsp_sp2.

Using windows 98se IE-6.. When I try & open a new window all I get is a box with the minus sign, the square, & X sign somewhere on the screen. Have to hit on the square to get the page to open. This just started a couple of days ago, any Ideas ??? TIA Gimpy

My browser was crashing when clicking on some links. I removed navexcel with adaware as was suggested by some posts. This did not solve the problem though. On further inspection I still had to uninstall the program through control panel and delete the files under c:\program

Every time I launch Explorer 6 on my home computer (running Windows XP), it opens for less than a second and then immediately quits. Very frustrating. Any ideas how to fix this?

I have encounter what appears to be a new IE hijacker. It sets the home page to about:blank then displays a search site whose links all point to nyam-nyam.biz. This appear similiar to the coolweb one. The PC is running Winxp home
