Whether active or idle, MSIE is addressing my harddrive in one-second
intervals, like the ticking of a clock.  I shut down IE and the sound
stops.  I tried downloading and reinstalling.  No change.  I've scanned
for a virus.  Clean.  The other browser I use (Firefox) is silent.

Hello, I am using Internet Explorer 6.0 I have two computers running
WindowsXP Sp2 installed, my question is on the one computer, on my shortcuts
in the taskbar when I click on (example) yahoo mail shortcut it takes off and
opens, when I click the same icon in the task bar again ...

For some reason I can't see my favicon when using IE via my Intranet or the
Internet yet I observe it in the Favorites.
It is not a good feeling when I can see the favicon using Firefox and the

I am using Windows XP Home with SP2 and suddenly cannot view HTML source code
by using the View menu or by right-clicking on the page. This only affects
one user setting, not the other which works perfectly. (Viewing the source

I add play.com in the restricted sites under the security tab of Internet
explorer the excate text read *.playboy.com similar to the one listed.
However, I still can go to playboy.com and I can go to every sight that it
says it is retricted by default.
