Whether active or idle, MSIE is addressing my harddrive in one-second
intervals, like the ticking of a clock.  I shut down IE and the sound
stops.  I tried downloading and reinstalling.  No change.  I've scanned
for a virus.  Clean.  The other browser I use (Firefox) is silent.

pages on the web.  My coworker goes to the same URL without any problem  The
difference between us is my laptop is running Windows 2000 server with IE

Hello, I am using Internet Explorer 6.0 I have two computers running
WindowsXP Sp2 installed, my question is on the one computer, on my shortcuts

I am using Windows XP Home with SP2 and suddenly cannot view HTML source code
by using the View menu or by right-clicking on the page. This only affects
one user setting, not the other which works perfectly. (Viewing the source

However, I still can go to playboy.com and I can go to every sight that it
