Whether active or idle, MSIE is addressing my harddrive in one-second intervals, like the ticking of a clock. I shut down IE and the sound stops. I tried downloading and reinstalling. No change. I've scanned for a virus. Clean. The other browser I use (Firefox) is silent.

For some reason I can't see my favicon when using IE via my Intranet or the Internet yet I observe it in the Favorites. It is not a good feeling when I can see the favicon using Firefox and the favicon was initially proprietary to IE.

I am using Windows XP Home with SP2 and suddenly cannot view HTML source code by using the View menu or by right-clicking on the page. This only affects one user setting, not the other which works perfectly. (Viewing the source code is important as I do a lot of web design).

I add play.com in the restricted sites under the security tab of Internet explorer the excate text read *.playboy.com similar to the one listed. However, I still can go to playboy.com and I can go to every sight that it says it is retricted by default.
