Is there a problem with this board?  I posted a message on the 21st and had a
reply and not cannot find it.  Posted again last night and that message I

I am using XP Home SP2.  I am trying to "clear passwords" from IE 6.  I do
so from Options, Content, and the Autocomplete area of the window.  When I
try this, IE hangs.  Any suggestions to fix this?

This morning when I went up on the Internet my Home Page had been
replaced by an advertisement urging me to switch to MSN as my Home
Page.
The website was:  http://runonce.msn.com/en/runonce.asp

when doing a search within IE, the search comes up with stuff. If I go to
google.com, webcrawler.com or any search engine and type in something,

When I use the runas command to open internet explorer , it gives an path ,
program not found error message .
I give the RUNAS command as ffs:-

My IE quit working after i removed some spyware.  i cannot go to any page on
the web.  My dsl connection is good for i can use Instant Messaging.  Any

Before installing Windows XP sp2, I could access my websites using IE 6 ftp
protocol.
Now it hangs the program. IE does not respond.....I need to shut down IE. It
works fine for everything else.

I'm running XP and have IE6 installed.  I also have the firewall enabled.
For some weeks now, IE has been crashing. Sometimes it lasts an hour before
crashing, often just a few minutes.  It hangs my entire system so I have to
reboot. There is no error message.

After I installed SP2, everything works fine except when I start up Internet
Explorer.  If I go straight to a link, it works fine, but when I open up the
Iexplore exe. file or click on the Explorer icon on my taskbar, it goes to a
nonexistent link rather than to my home page.  ...

Is there a way to get Internet 5.5 or 6 without downloading directly to a
computer (downloading on one computer and saving it then loading it
on another).  I have an a computer that runs Windows 98 and IE5.  I want to
upgrade to IE6 so I can connect the computer to the internet ...
