Can't Remove Program22 Feb 2005 02:14 GMT1
I have been unable to remove Earthlink Total Access 2004 from Add or Remove
Programs in Control Panel.  I complete the process and get a pop-up
indicating the removal was successful.  However, after re-starting, this
program still appears in my directory with lots of sub-folders ...

When removing a program (Earthlink Total Access) via Add/Remove in Control
Panel, I inadvertently removed my Favorites folder which apparently was part
of the program I removed.  Is there a way I can recover/reconstruct my
Favorites folder?  Thanks in advance, Fran

hi, when i click on links, ie says it incountered a problem and needs to
close. It happens only sometimes, but always when multiple sites are open or
on certain sites like internet banking. the error report says:

When I go to tinypic.com I see an IP address logged that's not my own.
It belongs to PSInet.com.  Whatismyip.com however, accurately reflects my

Automatic updates for IE6 SP1 keep failing to install. My system is win 2000
and my IE6 is set with 128 bit encryption. I noticed that this update is for

not all but some sites on our intranet (and same thing on the internet)
cause IE to hang, Task mgr says Program not responding and you have to do an
end task to regain control. It started when I upgraded to XP SP2. Make the
user an admin and everything works correctly, OR remove SP2 ...

When I try and view certain webpages I get the symbol with a white page and a
red cross in the centre.  It happens the worst on www.expedia.co.uk where
symbols and/or images are all errors.
How can I stop this happening?

I am only able to access https (secure) sites whenever I turn my computer on
and off. I have been doing a system restore each time b/c no one can figure
out what the problem is. I have tried changing all settings to correct the
problem.
