I'm using Version 6.0.2900.2180.xpsp_sp2_rtm.040803-2158 of Internet
Explorer.  Everytime I save a jsp or asp web pages to my local harddisk and
double click to view the web page with Internet Explorer, rather than showing
the real content of the page, Internet Explorer displays ...

I use IE6 with Outlook express and Windows XP SP2.
The first time I click a link in an e-mail message it takes IE6 several
seconds to launch properly and start downloading the appropriate window - it
used to happen immediately. It then works fine until I log out again.

I'm having a problem with bullets on web pages.  Instead of appearing as the
symbol they are, they show up as question marks?  How do I fix this

I have scoured all of the "fixes" offered here to get my search back from my
address bar.  I'm running WinXP Pro sp2 - I tried fixing the registry, I
tried the kellys xp regedit (listed in a few places on this board), but that

I downloaded the shredder mentioned in the other posts about getting
hijacked.  I will run it shortly.  I would like to report that my homepage is
getting hijacked by MSN.COM is this a similar spyware program?  I run WinXP

I copied all my favorites from one computer to another but noticed that
when I tried to do a Tools->Synchronize, none of the copied favorites
had any sync. info - they all showed the "Make available offline"
option when I right mouse clicked on them.

Lately, on some web sites, when I'm browsing and I hit the back arrow key, I

for the last few days, i have been trying to delete all of the history from
the address bar in internet explorer.  the problem is this:  when i type the
letter "g," and only "g" in the address bar, a drop down list appears with

I've been using IE 6.0 SP2 for many months without glitches.  A couple of
days ago, I got a "Toolbar is corrupted.  Press OK to uninstall"  message at
the usual place where I used to enter URL for specific website.
Any idea as to how this can be fixed?

i'm trying to view a few websites in another language and the characters
won't display properly.  what setting in IE or windows does this?  the
website i'm trying to view is written in japanese.

"Automatically detect settings" option in the IE browser configuration does
and when or when not to use it?
