Hi, this is my first time posting at your newsgroup.
I have a problem with my IE where when I type something in the address bar
to search for it, instead of being redirected to MSN search, I'm redirected
to a search at http://www.starteuro.nl.. It gets annoying as I like to search ...

I deleted my 'My MSN' customized homepage, and now I can't recreate a new
one.  Clicking the indicated link I get "the requested page is not
available."  I'm still on the required passport.net, and I have signed in.
Has Microsoft discontinued the My MSN customizable homepage?  ...

The general tab on Internet options is missing for some time and can't clear
the history or the address bar. Also websites not ones we had saved or
want)keep getting added to our favorites every time we reboot and another web
site becomes our home page. MYsearch.com (I think)

When i try and sign in to my MSN internet explorer i get a message saying
"check date and time settings because this info is needed to verify password".
I can access general internet no problem and i have checked that all windows
updates have been downloaded.

How can I get rid of this problem. Everytime I load up IE it automatically
loads up a BLANK home page that displays a SEARCH FOR screen and a big list
of things I can search and click on. But enytime I go to Windows site, it

I have 2 computers, both running XP Pro SP 2 and IE 6.0. On one computer when
I visit one particular site (through a DSL connection) I am unable to click
on any of the buttons on the left to access any of the sites sub pages, I can
access the site just fine on the other computer. ...

Sometimes my browser won't display an object that I believe is an Active X
control.  At least I think they're Active X controls.  For example, when I

I am using IE 6.0.
My history folder is supposed to keep the URLs for 20 days.
But recently I've noticed that when I click I don't get any history.
I'm not sure what the problem is. Any ideas?

On my Win XP, IE 6.0 PC, a week ago ".PDF" files opened fine. Now nothing but
a blank box. I reset all the IE setting to defalt. No change. No recent
changes or upgrades. Any help would be appreciated.

Last night my son downloaded from a chat program what turned out to be
an infected file. My son says the file was named "pictures.pif" . Since
then I've had problems with Internet Explorer ActiveX security
settings. I get the following Internet Explorer dialog box message:

website hides the navigation controls or resizes a window it ticks me off.

Well, this is a weird one.  I've lost the toolbar icons in Print Preview
with IE6.
Everything else works fine.  Printing, previewing, browsing - everything is
fine.
HTTP Proxy continues to request authentication12 Feb 2005 22:53 GMT1
It is a very annoying pop up that request Proxy authentication.  It is only
happening on 2 machines out of 100.  One machine is XP Pro and one is W2K.  I
have searched and searched the knowledgebase, but to no avail.  I am putting
this up for some SERIOUS HELP.  This is killing ...
