This is an ATI video card file. I had popups for about 2-3 months now from domainincome, paypopup, superlogy and others I can't recall. I disabled it using the msconfig utility 48 hours ago and I haven't had a popup since. If this helps anyone, great. If it doesn't, oh well.

when I go to my hotamail account, there is a message in taskbar 'detecting proxy setting' which remain there for quite some time before the page is opened. How can I rectify it ? thanks.

I'm not the 1st to report this. I get a DNS Error message in IE6, can't get anywhere. Firefox and other software (Agent) work fine. I tried lspfix (no problem found) and winsockXPfix with no luck. Do I give up on IE???

After having some problems, I tried 'fix IE'...I received an error message. Then I noticed that when checking System Information IE5 was listed not IE6. When I clicked on "Internet Explorer" (under system information) it has IE6 listed as disabled under 'content advisor'.

I don't use IE all that much so I don't know when this happened, but suddenly on opening IE today, I noticed that all favorites now have .url after the name - so for example, I have a favorite on my Links bar called Bank: it now says Bank.url. On investigation, ALL my favorites
