When browsing any website the message keeps appearing that the security

On my new computer the web pages in Internet explorer are displaying at
a larger width than the same pages in other browsers. Because of this

I am developing a website and used to have a picture which was 500*300
pixels. I changed the picture to 500*266, but IE keeps on telling me it's
still 500*300. Anyone has a clue? Renaming the picture solved the problem...

Is there any way to add a menu button or command to turn the pictures on and
off in IE.
When I connect with my mobile phone, I don't want pictures.

Every time I cllick Favourites on the menu,internet give me an error message:

This only happens on one site that I play at frequently. I can go to a few
places on the site, then IE just quits. The site is Gaia Online. I never had
a problem until a couple weeks ago. When it does happen I can do nothing but
close down IE and restart. I can't refresh, go back ...

I am having a difficulty in my ie6. Once I open a new window, my old window
will be closed.
