I have a problem with Ie 6.0 (Fully patched) that on occassion while surfing
websites that internet explorer will freeze to the point where a kill task
will not close it and the network icon shows disconnected.  However all other
programs and network connections remain fine.  ...

Everytime I open up Internet Explorer 6.0 and go to MSN homepage, whenever I
click on a link I get the following page:

When I installed the Verizon DSL software it altered my verion of IE6.  I'd
like to revert to the standard version, but when I tried an
uninstall/reinstall (control panel/add remove/update windows components) I
ended up with the Verizon version.

My default HTML document icons have changed, I tried to get the default
icons back by going to:
Control Panel>Folder Options>file Types>HTML Documents>Advanced>change Icon,
but when I click the "Change Icon" button I get this message: "Windows

When I use my dial up once connected IE6 automatically starts up and directs
to this site. Then I get a large amount of data beiung passed both ways via

I connect to it just fine from my place...He has no blocking software,
cleared his temp, and internet temp files...Also changed HOST to
HOST.OLD, and did CMD ipconfig /flushdns and rebooted...

I am Running Win 2k with I/E 6.0.2800.1106 Occasionaly I get an annoying
popup that says "This page contains both secure and non secure items.  
..........."   How do I stop this annoyence from appearing.  Thanks.  --

As soon as I connected to the internet, thru cable, my Windows XP is very
slow if I would to browse the net. The PC is update with all Microsoft
updates and patches.
