Using Windows XP. When I click on an email hyperlink, an Outlook new message opens but the email address won't auto populate. It would on my old computer with Windows 2000. Is this an XP issue or something I need to turn on in Internet Options?

I'm using XP. Up until a few days ago, I could save images and assign any "type" I wanted, or they were saved in the same format as the original. Now when I right-click to save 1) they will only save in .bmp format and 2) the option of Save Target As is grey and not an option ...

When I save new internet sites they have a unique icon associated with them. This icon disappears and is replaced by the explorer icon after I run Scan Disk and AdWare clean ups. How can I permanently save the original icon associated to a specific web site.

Is there any way to do maintenance on the list of passwords stored by Autocomplete? When I go to Tools>internet optoions>Contents>AutoComplete all I am allowed to do is delete all forms or all passwords.

when I open IE - it does not connect with any websites. I have windows 98. Gives me error msg - The page cannot be displayed. This is not supported my microsoft anymore and I cannot afford to pay $35 to have my question answered over the phone. Can someone please help me?

i am having the same exact problem but, eventually it will go to the page but it takes 3-4 minutes before it auto completes the address. is there a refresh option in the reg that tells it when to default to the default prefix?
