Sorry if this has been done before. Pages on item list at ebay slow slow to reload when I hit the back button from viewing an indivudual item. Okay when IE first starts, but gradually worsens till wait time gets to 4 -

I tried everything that zee suggested on the next page down. In some of the programs I can see that it was remmoved, but it keeps coming back.

Running IE6 on XP Home with SP2. Windows firewall only. Norton AV. This is a dial connection. Once dialled, IE6 browses to various websites for approximately 5 minutes and then gives 'site unavailable' to any further attempts.

I cannot open or download PDF files using Internet Explorer 6.0 SP2. If I click in a link with this type of file, IE shows a red X, the upper left corner. The PDF extension is correctly associated with Acrobat Reader:

Recently I haven't been able to View Source code when right clicking on the web page. I checked the Registry and found the settings and folders in the Default HTML Editor to be different than my laptop (which has no problem with View Source).

Using XP diagnostics and ping I find I have working connections to my LAN and the internet (I can ping URL and get return [www.yahoo.com etc.] but when I enter URL in Internet Explorer I get "Internet Explorer could not open search page"
