Just wondered if a program called calc.exe should be in internet explorer folder. It is not the same as the calculator accessory. I only noticed this program when it showed an error. When it shows an error

When clicking on the Search button on the toolbar, the search window pops up but it's blank. Clicking on New does nothing. Clicking on Custom brings up an IE Script Error box: An error has occurred in the script on this page

When I click on a PDF in IE6, it automatically opens in Acrobat 7. I want it to ask to be downloaded instead of opening automatically. I tried unchecking the "Display in browser" option in Acrobat, which worked for previous versions of Acrobat, but not 7.0. Any suggestions?

How do I:- 1. Switch off Macromedia Flash (but not permanently); 2. Open new browser windows automatically maximised; 3. Lock the "Favorites" menu item so my kids can't move things around.

When I click on a llink in my browser nothing happens. So I opened the task manager to see if what I could see and discovered that every link I clicked on did, in fact, open a new browser window. But the window doesn't appear on my desktop and an icon for the window doesn't

After repairing an installation with win xp home, my IE locks up when I go to windows update. I tried using mozilla but the website says I need to be running IE. Please help me! I can browse the internet without any other lockups...JUST with Windows update.

Up until a few days ago IE would save a file with the specific name that was specified by the site ex.( pic2.jpg), but now it seems that everytime i try to save an image to my hardrive, IE always sets it up as untitled.bmp. How can i bring it back to the old settings?
