I am trying to use a chat program. It worked until recently but seems to
have stopped. What could be doing this? I am using Windows XP service pack 2
but have turned off the pop up blocker. Any ideas?

If I build an HTML email with links that specify the same target, when users
click on a link from within Outlook, it launches a new separate IE window.
If I save the email as HTML and run it, every link will pop in the same
window, which is what I want to happen.

Somehow I picked up the browserdirect.net annoyance. After
googling "browserdirect.net" I found advice to check
Add/Remove programs for "new.net"--and there it was. I
removed it.

I was surfing on my laptop, and my browser got jammed. I had to
cntrl-Alt-delete and despite several restarts, the browser does not open.
Tried running McAfee and Spybot and Adaware, but nothing showed up.

The keyboard shortcut for going to the previous page in IE is ALT+LEFT ARROW

This just started happening a couple days ago.  When I click on a link, or
open a link in a new browser window, the window that is opened sits there
"loading" the page.  There is no status at the bottom.  It will sit there
indefinately.  Nothing has been added/installed or ...

sorry to bother you but this just started.  when I go to a site and later see
the url for the same site it is not highlited.  I'm am not sure how else to
explain it.  could there be something wrong with My history file?
