I cannot connect to the internet with IE because it haunts me with an
outdated proxy setting.

Whenever I try to use the pull down menu in the address bar, of sites
recently visited, it causes IE6 to freeze. I have already run Norton AV,
Lavasoft Adware, and Spybot along with rebuilding the stack. Any ideas?

Whats the best way to back up Outlook? Just concerned with Inbox, Sent Items
and contacts. It seems there is no built in app that does this, so do I have
to get something 3rd party? And prefeably something that will back up to a
network drive.

I am using IE 6 and would like to run a script that test our web pages. Is
there a way to temporarially disable the security warnings pertaining to
either an untrusted, outdated, or otherwise invalid security certificate?

Ever since IE was upgraded to 6, I have had no success in upgrading.  The
download gets to about 93%, then drops out.  I've lived with this up to now,
but I now cannot use MSN, as the latest version has found a conflict with IE.
Any suggestions gratefully received!

I can't use Save Target As, because it's grayed. Could it be because of
Content Advisor?

I have a kiosk that customers will use to look up a manufacturers web site,
plus some related accessory sites. I want to restrict them to about a 6-10
URL's.  Is there a way I can restrict IE from browsing to all sites, except
ones that I specify?

Help..... Whenever I want to send a link to someone via e-mail, I get
redirected to my hotmail account, and then fails to send the link. Why is
this happening? I am using Outlook as my deault mail program.

After applying XP sp2, explorer won't load on every attempt - I often has to
make another start before it loads ok.
With "task manager" I can se that a process is started for the "not loading"
attempt also.

Intermittent problem:  Sometimes when I try to close a single IE6 window
by clicking the X in the upper right corner of the window, all open IE6
windows disappear.
Why does this happen?  How can I prevent it?

Hi,  I've seen this exact issue posted several times but have not found
anyone who has resolved it... Hoping someone has figured it out.

I am having this same problem of having all my IE font in italics and I have
read through a couple of these similar postings - no luck on the suggestions.
Please help. I managed to lock most of the fonts into non-italics by checking
the box to "ignore font styles specified in web ...

I'm using a robot which download webpages from the web. The robot work on a
couple of machines: Some of them are PC, one is an old IBM server. All of
