Is there a way to get rid of these annoying mouse pointer popups in Internet
Explorer?  It's especially annoying when the pointer is over a picture.

I want to open my browser maximized by default. I am programming ASP
applications and the client wants the IE popup window to be displayed in full
page mode. Any help will be appreciated. I use VBScript not JavaScript.

My IE6.0 SP2 shows pictures in low resolution21 May 2005 01:05 GMT2
When I use IE,all pictures are shown in low resolution. This used to work ok.
All ither software (photo software, etc ) works ok. So the PC screens are
fine. Any ideas why IE pictures are so blurred. Thanks in anticipation.

Sometimes, when I open an internet explorer page and then close i
before it loads the homepage, i get hit with 4 or 5 internet explore
pages opening every second. They are unstopable unless I turn off my p
directly (i can't access the shutdown). does anyone know a virus tha

Trying to browse these groups at work, I may have missed this question, one I
found offered a solution that didn't work.
Most web pages error out with above error message.  I had IE6.0, saw the
solution to download service pack for 5.5, so I unloaded 6.0, loaded 5.5,

I am having problems viewing some web pages, not all - my ISP is fine -
there is no discernible pattern - some open so far, but the actual page I am
waiting to see, the text bit in the middle, remains blank and white, then
nothing else happens - also, some links don't work, at all, ...

I have Win XP Pro SP2.  Frequently when I try to download files from the
web, it starts the download and gets a few KB of the file and then the
download progress window disappears and the download stops.  Does anyone
have any ideas what this might be?

How does/can one define what is a local intranet zone for the IE clients on
my network? For variouse reasons i need to lower the security settings for
the local intranet, but i do not want to have this settings lowering security

I typed in www.d-a-l.com/help, and it says the page may have been removed,
but the address in the browser is what you see below.  What's all the ?%20
stuff?  Is that normal?

Hijacked Yahoo page - Repairing IE6 in WinXP SP220 May 2005 16:03 GMT2
How do you repair IE in WinXP SP2?  I can not find the iesetup.exe and there
is no listing for IE in control panel.

My broadband provider seems to have installed its own Favorites in IE. I
cannot see them on the list if I do "organise favorites", nor does
righclicking on it work (no list comes up, so no delete!). Tried removing
them from "documents & sttings" with explore, but they just come ...
