I have new search bar at top and search desktop box at bottom. These items
slowed me down. How do I delete?  I tried a restore and it was still there
and I don't see it as a program I can get rid of.  Being slightly learning

Recently, any urls in my drop down menu for the address line are
disappearing. It doesn't happen every day, but enough to be a pain. I run XP
SP2, MS Antispyware,
Ad-Aware, Spybot and ZoneAlarm. I have run each manually and then checked

Unable to open address book in IE618 May 2005 20:08 GMT1
I have just performed a migration using the files and settings wizard from a
98 machine to an XP box.  All is well except that it seems like the address
book function is corrupt in IE.  Everytime I try and open the IE address book
on the XP box I get "Unable to open address book" ...

i click on a link and the new browser window starts to open and then
dissapears i have turn off all popup blockers but this problem still accures
i have also turned off my norton internet security 2004 still accures any

Very infrequently I am asked for a Windows password when booting-up, but
I cannot recall setting such a password.  I get past it by entering my

I hope someone can help...  Everytime I open IE 6 it hangs, and I have to do
the famous Ctrl-Alt-Del to shut it down.  I have run my virus program, adware
program, spyware program, deleted my history, cookies, re-installed, you name
it I did it and nothing helps.

We have a system log through the internal web interface, i.e. when a user
has a problem s/he can either telephone to the Service desk, send an email,
or log the problem through the company web interface.  31 users out of 13000

dor some reason, when using internet explorer, I can't usae the find command
from the menu, and ctrl-f doesn't work either. they work in all other
programs though, just not internet explorer. (the command is still available
in the menu, it kust doesn't do anything when I try to ...
