shdocvw.dll error on shutdown16 May 2005 21:04 GMT4
Each time I shut down Internet Explorer it creates an error report. I click
on details and the report always mentions shdocvw.dll
I'm using Windows XP Pro with SP2.
Can anyone tell me how to resolve this please.

I have a set of DVD ISO images, most of which are over 4GB, which I've hosted
both on Linux and Windows servers.  In each case, I've gotten calls from
Windows users (using Windows 2000 and XP) trying to download the file --

How does one remove a Google toolbar/address bar in I.E. ?  This person may
have inadvertently added it when he signed up for gmail.   But with a
regular address bar in I.E., he doesn't need the additional Google one
taking up space at the top of the screen.

Running XP Pro w/ SP2 and latest updates
When I open IE (homepage is msn.com) the page spazzes out and refreshes
about 5 times a second, displaying nothing, and never stops.  When I stop the
page from loading and go to google or anywhere else, does the exact same

I am new to this group. I experience frequent hanging at shutdown. "Windows
is shutting down" appears and stays. Sometimes for hours.. Any suggestions on
how to fix this? I am using IE 6.0.28. Thank you very much

It seems that almost every time I open and use Internet Explorer, I
eventually have to go into Task Manager and "end process" because IE has
gobbled up tons and tons of memory - many times in excess of 100K!!!.  There
are also times when I will end IE by simply closing it, but ...

ezboard.com.. each of my links now result in a page cannot be displayed error
in both IE and Firefox. I cannot even get http://www.ezboard.com to open in

There are two reports that installation of Firefox disables the drag/drop of
files/folders to an upload ftp site opened in IE6.  Go see:

I am experiencing a problem with accessing my netscape.net mail. I go to the

I run Flashget a download manager but sometimes get the statement "Download
the file with your browser and not a download manager" when I try to download
it automaticaly used Flashget how do I get to just use my browser to download
without uninstalling the download manager? right ...
